Become A Citizen Scientist! @ Main Library In-Person

April is Citizen Science Month!

Are you curious about the world around you? Do you want to contribute to real scientific research? Join Miss Kim at the Main Library to learn how you can become a citizen scientist! Whether you're passionate about birds, the night sky, climate change, or local wildlife, there are exciting projects you can participate in – no special training required. Discover how to collect and share data, connect with professional researchers, and make a real impact at home using a computer or mobile device!

Together, we'll learn about an ongoing citizen science project* and work on making classifications together, helping scientists to classify photographs of beluga whales.

*Project subject to change based on data availability.
