Slow Stitching Brooch Workshop @ Main Library In-Person
Adults are invited to an engaging, hands-on workshop to explore the art of Slow Stitching, a meditative approach to embroidery that encourages you to embrace the process rather than rush to completion.
At today's class you'll use a variety of upcycled fabrics, threads and embellishments to create a small brooch. Local artist, Carol Ann Forshay, will guide you through techniques for hand-stitching, layering, and adding personal touches to reflect your individual style. All supplies provided.
Let your imagination flourish in a relaxing and supportive atmosphere. By the end of the session you'll have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind pendant and a newfound appreciation for the art of slow crafting. Beginner and seasoned stitchers all welcome.
