Read to a Dog @ Sussex-Wantage In-Person
Reluctant readers are invited to the Sussex-Wantage Branch most Mondays and Wednesdays to read aloud to our wonderful therapy dogs:
- Mondays 5:30-6:30 p.m. - meet Hugo
- Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 p.m. - meet Allie
Children who read aloud gain self-esteem, confidence, public speaking skills and a love of reading. Each child will have 10-15 minutes of one on one reading time. Hugo and Allie are great listeners, and rarely interrupt!
Register for a timeslot by stopping in or calling the library at 973 875-3940, option 2.
