Meg's Artistry: Seasonal Potholder Weaving For Teens @ Main Library In-Person
Join us for a creative and cozy season of art-making! On November 1st, come to the Main Library to create a woven potholder just in time for the start of the holiday season! Our fall and winter art classes are designed to spark imagination, build skills, and bring joy to artists of all ages. From spooky self-portraits to glowing holiday lights, each class introduces new techniques through seasonal, age-appropriate projects. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity!
In this program, teens will learn the art of weaving on a loom to create their own mini potholder-perfect as a hotplate, coaster, or handmade holiday gift! Teens can choose from natural or vibrant colored loops. learning to see and feel the differences in texture and tone as they weave.
