Mindfulness Meditation @ Dorothy Henry In-Person
For over twenty years, the practice of mindfulness meditation has been slowly finding its way into healthcare, financial, educational and corporate institutions in our society.
This four part series introduces participants to the foundations of mindfulness meditation and how to apply it in their daily lives. Led by Dr. Anthony Varriano, each session will include a brief lecture, a guided meditation period, group discussion, and shared experiential practices.
If you’re facing stress, pain or illness, mindful meditation can be a tool to help you develop more understanding about your innate ability to face any crisis with clarity, compassion and balance. The sessions are suitable for people with all levels of experience and will be held four consecutive Saturdays from November 1-22. Separate registration required for each week you plan to attend. Please bring a yoga mat (if you have one) and wear comfortable clothing.
